If your business has several rooms or areas (for example a reception, gym, studio, bar or restaurant), you can play different Soundsuit music streams in each area using the Loxone Audioserver.
This article explains how Soundsuit and Loxone work together. For detailed Loxone configuration, please refer to the official Loxone documentation linked at the end of this article.
How Soundsuit and Loxone Work Together
The integration follows a simple principle:
- One Soundsuit Zone = one independent music stream
- One Loxone Audio Player = one audio zone or area
- Each Loxone Audio Player is connected to one Soundsuit Zone
For example:
| Physical Area | Soundsuit Zone | Loxone Audio Player |
| Reception | Reception | Reception |
| Gym | Gym | Gym |
| Studio | Studio | Studio |
Once configured, every area can play its own music independently, or multiple areas can be grouped together within Loxone whenever required.
Step 1 – Create Your Soundsuit Zones
Inside the Soundsuit Dashboard, create one zone for every area that should play music independently.
Example:
- Reception
- Gym
- Studio
Each Soundsuit Zone provides its own dedicated music stream that can be managed independently.
Step 2 – Create One Audio Player per Area in Loxone
Inside Loxone Config, create one Audio Player for each physical area that should have independent music playback.
For example:
- Reception
- Gym
- Studio
The exact creation and configuration of Audio Players is handled entirely within Loxone Config.
Step 3 – Select Soundsuit as the Audio Source
After Soundsuit has been connected to your Loxone Audioserver, it becomes available as one of the available audio sources.
Simply open the desired Audio Player and select Soundsuit as its audio source.

Step 4 – Assign the Correct Soundsuit Zone
For every Audio Player, select the corresponding Soundsuit Zone.
Example:
| Loxone Audio Player | Soundsuit Zone |
| Reception | Reception |
| Gym | Gym |
| Studio | Studio |
From this point onward, each Audio Player will play the music assigned to its corresponding Soundsuit Zone.
Music selection, scheduling, playlists and AI Stations continue to be managed entirely from the Soundsuit Dashboard.
Example: Five Independent Music Areas
A typical installation may look like this:
| Physical Area | Soundsuit Zone | Loxone Audio Player |
| Reception | Zone 1 | Audio Player 1 |
| Gym Floor | Zone 2 | Audio Player 2 |
| Studio A | Zone 3 | Audio Player 3 |
| Studio B | Zone 4 | Audio Player 4 |
| Café | Zone 5 | Audio Player 5 |
Each area can play completely different music, or several Audio Players can be grouped together within Loxone whenever desired.
